SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERSHIPS

WHY PARTNER WITH US?

Offsetting alone won’t get us where we need to go. We know that, and so do the businesses we work with. Our sustainability partnerships are designed to do two things: support large-scale nature recovery and bring your people into direct contact with it because the businesses that will make the most difference are the ones that have people within them that care.

Our corporate sustainability partnerships connect your organisation directly to large-scale nature recovery, a nature connection programme that reaches thousands of individuals a year, and a community of like-minded people working to do things differently to tackle our climate and nature crisis.

Every partnership we build is personalised, we work with each organisation to understand what matters most to them. Whether that’s employee engagement, carbon reporting, community impact, or all of the above, and we shape the partnership around that. There’s no off-the-shelf package, because no two organisations have the same requirements.

Contribute to nature recovery

Your partnership directly funds nature recovery at scale. At Watercress Farm in Somerset, a 140-acre rewilding project is transforming what was drained arable land into a large mosaic of habitats and wetlands.

At Aberarder in Scotland, we’re restoring peatland, rejuvenating rivers and planting native woodland on a landscape-scale. This is nature recovery that’s measurable, monitored and ongoing for decades.

  • Support nature recovery projects including rewilding, rewetting, peatland restoration, river rejuvenation and woodland planting
  • Priority access to biodiversity and carbon units for your sustainability targets

CARBON CREDITS

Our carbon projects lock away carbon through peatland restoration at Aberarder and natural woodland regeneration across our sites, independently verified against the Peatland Code and Woodland Carbon Code.

The market for high-quality, nature-based carbon credits is already tightening. Demand for verified peatland and woodland credits, the kind independently certified against the Peatland Code and Woodland Carbon Code is outpacing new supply. Our Sustainability Partners get priority access to Belmont's carbon units before they're offered more widely.

We believe access to nature shouldn’t depend on where you grow up. Our award-winning Nature Connection programme runs at Watercress Farm in Somerset, bringing school groups, community groups and charity organisations into contact with the natural world at no cost to them.

Help us reach more individuals and groups through our free Nature Connection programme by becoming a Belmont Partner.
