TLT renews its partnership for three more years

We are delighted to announce that TLT has renewed its commitment to Belmont for another three years.

TLT became our first corporate partner back in 2022. Four years on, the national law firm has chosen to extend that commitment through to at least 2029, backing nature recovery across our sites, embedding sustainability into how businesses actually operate, and funding free access to nature for people who might not otherwise get it.

For us, this renewal means a lot. When an organisation that has seen the work that we’re doing, seen the land, put in the volunteer hours and scrutinised the numbers decides to renew for another three years, it proves that they are deeply committed sustainability and to Belmont.

What the partnership has delivered so far

This is what TLT’s backing has actually made possible:

• 425,000m² of nature recovered – rewilding, rewetting and biodiversity enhancement across previously degraded landscapes
• 500 hours of nature connection funded, helping more than 15,000 children and adults from schools, universities and community groups experience rewilded landscapes through our free nature connection programme
• A pipeline of high-integrity, nature-based carbon projects secured through peatland restoration at Aberarder, our site in the Scottish Highlands
• A 30-year conservation covenant for Watercress Farm, secured with TLT’s legal expertise in 2025, making it the first offsite biodiversity net gain (BNG) provider in North Somerset
• Hundreds of TLT volunteer hours spent knee-deep in nature recovery work – good for nature, communities that use the spaces they have volunteered and good for the people doing it too
  
  

Over the next three years, TLT will increase its investment in peatland restoration at Aberarder in Scotland, fund 400 hours of nature connection every year, and target 320 volunteering hours annually. That’s on top of a commitment to uplift (recover) 225m2 of nature every year, for the next 30 years.
