This is a broad, hands-on finance role at the heart of a growing estate. As Estate Accountant you’ll take real ownership of the day-to-day financial operations that keep Belmont running; from ledger management and supplier payments to month-end reporting, VAT returns and fixed asset maintenance.

Belmont Estate is looking for an Estate Assistant to join the team: a hands-on, physical role spanning livestock husbandry, woodland management, grounds maintenance and walled garden support across a working estate and organic farm near Bristol. You’ll be at the heart of the estate’s day-to-day operation, working in a small, committed team.

Wildlife conservation is vital to nature’s recovery and our passionate volunteers help us in our goal to increase local biodiversity and tackle climate breakdown. We have created a volunteer programme in partnership with an ecological consultancy to monitor species at our rewilding and rewetting project. The programme runs regularly throughout the year and surveying species groups range from botany, bats, birds, invertebrates, moths, and flies to mammals. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have, anyone with a passion for ecology and conservation is welcome to come and help.
