At Belmont, environmental restoration, sustainable food production, climate action and the reconnection of people to nature, food and one another underpin all that we do. From rewilding and rewetting the landscapes, restoring peatlands, replanting native woodlands to organic regenerative farming and free nature connection programme.

Our vision is a regenerative and reconnected world where planet and people thrive together, and it’s this hope that drives us.

To tackle the climate and biodiversity crises, we urgently need nature restoration at scale. As custodians of the land, we believe we can be a facilitator of that change, bringing communities and businesses together to reconnect with nature and inspire them to help safeguard our natural world.

From its 18th-century origins to the impact-driven organisation it is today, Belmont Estate has a 250-year history of restoration and reconnection. To maximise opportunities for national impact, the business has grown further than the original estate boundaries.

Replenishing and reviving our landscapes is central to our mission. Restored ecosystems like peatlands, wetlands and woodlands will help sequester carbon, regenerate soil health and improve biodiversity across the UK.
