People think differently in the serenity of our historic parkland, ancient woodland and listed buildings.

Carriage House

Restored, renovated and reborn, the Carriage House sits adjacent to the spectacular Walled Garden amphitheatre. With four versatile function rooms, terraces at the front and rear, The Carriage House is a hugely flexible space.
Meetings, events, exhibitions, cooking demonstrations, courses, fine dining and community eating – around tables hand built from estate timber.

Walled Garden

Neglected for many years before being inspirationally transformed with the help of renowned landscape architect, Bunny Guinness. Surrounded by 15 foot stone walls and built on a slope with incredible panoramic views over the Vale
of Bourton and the Severn to Wales and beyond, the striking tiered amphitheatre comfortably accommodates a thousand guests. A stunning space for music, theatre, events or gatherings. At its feet sits our organic kitchen garden, raised beds and heritage fruit trees that provide delicious seasonal produce.

Garden Pavilion

This re-purposed horticultural heritage building was sympathetically renovated in 2019 using the original stone and timber from fallen trees on the estate.

Now a unique space for practical experiences such as butchery demonstrations, charcuterie courses and sausage making.

With a floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted chiller, butcher’s block, oak barrel workstations, reclaimed original Belmont laundry sink and log burner this space can accommodate up to 16 people.

Pear Drop

The Pear Drop is an historic walled meadow hidden in our ancient woodland. Previously abandoned for decades and invaded by scrub, it has now been sensitively managed to create a wildflower pasture beneath several beautiful mature trees and surrounded by an 18th century stone wall.

Capable of accommodating large numbers the Pear Drop is best for serene and tranquil contemplation.

Indian Pavilion

Coming in summer 2020, the Indian Pavilion will offer a woodland venue quite unlike any other. Comprising six magnificent teak columns reclaimed from Rajasthan built around a large open, wooden deck it will be a truly unique venue.
Woodland meetings, workshops, yoga, forest bathing, intimate musical performances, forest feasts – truly magical and memorable events.

Croquet Lawn

Directly in front of Belmont House and surrounded by wild flowers this beautiful space is perfect for garden party-style events .. and hopes to be a croquet lawn when it gets older.
