Terms & Conditions for The Walled Garden Picnic

In booking your tickets to this event you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions on behalf of all members in your party.

1. Seating and Accessibility

This is a picnic style event, blankets will be provided.  Seating will be entirely on the ground with no chairs.  We will allocate one blanket to every 2 people who are booking together.  Please contact us at events@belmont.estate should you have any special requirements.

Our grounds are uneven in places and there may be some slip and trip hazards. Sensible footwear is recommended and high heels discouraged.  The property is not fully wheel chair accessible, though we do have a disabled toilet.

The Walled Garden is a terraced amphitheatre constructed from Corten steel. The steel should not leave marks on clothing but this cannot be guaranteed. The steel can also get very hot in the sun, please be aware of this if seated near to a Corten steel step.

2. Covid-19 Measures

We are putting careful measures in place that we can to ensure that the picnic will be safe and socially distanced as per current government recommendations.

Parents will be expected to take responsibility for their children remaining socially distanced from other groups at the picnic.

We politely request that you do not attend this event if (on July 5th) you or a member of your party have recently (within past 14 days) been exposed to someone with COVID-19, tested positive for COVID-19 or are showing COVID-19 symptoms.

Payment for any drinks or snacks purchased from our outdoor bar will be taken by card only.  No cash.

We will need to take contact details from all attendees on the day of the event in order to adhere with government track and trace requirements.  The lead member of each group will be responsible for ensuring the forms we provided in the hampers are completed appropriately.  We will not share these details with any third party.

3. Consumables, Alcohol and Drugs

Only food and drink purchased on site may be consumed at this event.

We sell alcohol in alignment with the Challenge 25 scheme. Please bring valid ID if you feel you may be asked to provide it.

We have a zero drugs tolerance at Belmont Estate.  Anyone found using illegal substances will be asked to leave the property.

Smoking tobacco and the use of e-liquids is permitted in specially designated areas only.  Social distancing measures will apply.

4. Cancellation policy

All tickets non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed by the organisers due to reasons beyond our control in which case an alternate date and / or arrangements will be provided
